Where Understanding Difference Transforms Learning

Education and Schools

At ND Hub North West, we believe that education should be a place where every young person,  regardless of how their brain works, feels safe, valued, and able to thrive. We work with schools, colleges, and education settings to create inclusive, neuroaffirming environments that celebrate difference and nurture the potential of every learner.

Shaped by Lived Experience

ND Hub is led by neurodivergent professionals and shaped by lived experience. We understand the real challenges faced by pupils, parents, and educators, and we bring empathy, insight, and practical strategies to every partnership.

What We Do

We support education settings to build confidence, understanding, and capacity to meet the needs of autistic, ADHD, and otherwise neurodivergent pupils through:

  • Whole School Inclusion

  • Helping schools create policies, practices, and environments where neurodivergent learners can succeed, from classroom adaptations to sensory-friendly spaces.

  • Staff Training and CPD

  • Our interactive training and professional development programmes provide staff with the tools and confidence to understand neurodiversity, manage behaviour supportively, and promote emotional regulation.

  • Therapy and Wellbeing Support

  • Through our Therapy Service for Schools, we offer 1:1 counselling, group sessions, and early intervention for pupils who need additional emotional or social support.

  • Parent and Carer Engagement

  • We help schools build stronger relationships with parents and carers through webinars, workshops, and advice sessions that focus on understanding and supporting neurodivergent children.

Our Approach

We work collaboratively with schools to identify what’s working well and where extra support is needed.

Every partnership is shaped around the individual needs of the setting, ensuring the support we offer is practical, evidence-informed, and sustainable.

Our Vision

We’re working towards a future where neurodiversity is understood, respected, and celebrated in every classroom. When pupils feel seen and supported, they not only learn better, they thrive.

Our Core Values

Community

Belonging means being accepted as you are, not who you are expected to be. We build inclusive, peer-led communities rooted in solidarity and mutual support.

Safety

Our spaces are built on trust, consent, and respect for each person's boundaries and needs. We prioritise emotional, sensory, and psychological safety.

Identity

Everyone has the right to be fully themselves, without pressure to mask or conform. We celebrate neurodivergence as a natural and valuable part of human diversity.
